If life was a fairytale, this would be our story…
“Once upon a time… there was a peasant named Joana who met a princess named Amelia at the town called Xanga.
Joana did not know Amelia was the princess of the whole land of America because Princess Amelia was nothing but kind and generous to Joana.
Even though Joana moved from the town of Xanga to the town of Myspace, and then to the town of Myspace to the town of Facebook. Princess Amelia would always know where to look. The love of a friend was all it took!
Princess Amelia and Joana were inseparable and always having fun until one day, the King noticed Princess Amelia was gone. The King came to take Princess Amelia back to the castle and told them their friendship was too much of a hassle!
Since that day, Joana hadn’t heard or seen the princess. She just wanted to get out of this mess but all she could do was hope for the best. Her friend, Matthew, wondered what was wrong. He hadn’t seen her sad for this long. She told him the story and he felt sorry.
Then, Matthew had an idea and so, they came to visit Princess Amelia! But the princess went missing! The dragon took her and the King and his soldiers had been fighting.
Joana was worried and wanted to help but Matthew said no and volunteered instead. Joana asked why him when she was the friend. But Matthew went anyway after all that had been said.
Matthew walked into the forest and found the cave with the King and the soldiers. The dragon heard them get inside and no longer felt the need to hide. The cave moved as the dragon flew, side to side.
When they were finally face to face, soldiers fell down, one by one, until it was just Matthew and the King. They ran; they jumped; they swung their swords. Nothing seemed to work until Matthew felt the princess’s fear through her crying in tears.
He looked to his corner and met with Princess Amelia’s eyes. It was love at first sight. It was as if he dreamed of her all his life. And now was his chance to prove it in a fight.
Princess Amelia suddenly shouted to look behind him. Matthew turned around, moved to the side, and jumped on it. The dragon noticed and so it crashed from wall to wall, wanting Matthew to fall.
All Matthew could think of was how much he wanted to be with her as the dragon blew fire by fire. But when it finally got tired, Matthew stabbed its eye and the dragon said goodbye.
Matthew fell down and hurt his head when Princess Amelia and the King ran, thinking he was dead. He opened up his eyes and met hers once more. And just like that, Princess Amelia fell for him as she thanked him for ending the war. She never met a man who’d put his life into danger, only to save a petty, fearful stranger.
Once Princess Amelia and Joana reunited at the castle, the King apologized and was happy their friendship was saved. He also thanked Matthew for being brave. Then, Joana formally introduced Matthew to Princess Amelia.
Since that day, they couldn’t stop thinking about one another. And even though they live far from each other, they had love keeping them together. Their love was so deep and so true that they made the best gift of all – a baby boy named Matthan, their little prince who’s worth it all.”

Before I attempt to beat my insomnia, I just want to say January 9, 2012 was a GREAT day! I slept for less than 4 hours only to later find out that I was an hour early for my appointment in the city. I was happy to know that it didn’t take that long to get there though. And I get to volunteer! Then I went to eat with my cousin who I haven’t seen since Christmas `10! After I left her job, I checked my emails on my way to the bus station. Then I saw this email (shown on the photo)! I was thinking… yay, another email that should’ve been on my spam mail. Then I looked who sent it… the same company that gave me free Immortals 3D tickets! But the problem was… My name isn’t Charlene! So I could to let them know about it and later said that they made a mistake or something and I was qualified as a winner! So I won $500 Amex giftcard!!! Luck, right? It’s MORE than luck. Yes, out of everyone who entered the contest… I won. BUT I don’t know if it was really “Charlene” who won or I did since they emailed it to MY email address. I think it’s DOUBLE luck or DUMB luck! I may never find out who really won but at the end of the day, I got the giftcard. On my way back to Port, I cried out of joy! I haven’t cried in months and this time it’s happy tears. I didn’t know how to pay my transportation when I start volunteering… and “coincidentally,” the same day I had an appointment with the volunteer manager, I won the giftcard!
I know I’ve experienced a lot of luck and everyone I know says I’m lucky. My mom even made me buy lotto on my 22nd birthday. Funny thing is… I didn’t wanna win lotto. So what I did is I “half lucked” it. Instead of winning the whole millions of dollars. I won $2 cuz of the mega number. How’d I “half lucked” it? Instead of ME buying the lotto… I made my mom do it. But I picked the mega number. I really think I’m lucky though especially knowing that I’m a dragon. Sometimes I wish it’s not luck that got me things but cuz of my knowledge. This year is the dragon year so it’s my year. I’m feeling great about this year. I know I’ll have a lot more luck! And hopefully, I’ll be lucky enough to get things by my knowledge.
Another thing that happened today. I’ve been busy all day so I didn’t see my phone until later in the evening. I googled this miss call and found out it was from a hospital I applied to! So I might be getting an interview or something… But funny thing is, I don’t really wanna work there. I just applied there cuz I was desperate to get a job and so I applied everywhere, even really far places like the hospital that I don’t want to work at. But whatever happens happens. It’s just crazy how today is just full of not just luck but excitement!I really wanna volunteer though. I know I don’t get paid and it’s also far away from my house but I always wanted to volunteer in the hospital! So hopefully if I do get both jobs, I will be happy to volunteer and work as a nurse at the same time!

“I have known Joe Gordon-Levitt for going on 12 years. We first met in the summer of 2000 while doing a tiny movie called Manic, where we bonded over a mutual appreciation for Harry Nilsson and Nina Simone and I have been lucky enough to call him one of my dearest friends ever since. When we did 500 Days of Summer 8 years later, we spent every lunch hour dancing to Marvin Gaye in the hair and make up trailer; we had loads of fun. I hope to do a thousand more movies with him because he’s simply the best.”
